Europe’s ‘Hotel of the Year’, The Ned is a five-star establishment in the City of London, recognised as one of the most ambitious launches of the decade with its 250 bedrooms, eleven restaurants, six private event spaces, spa, gym and members’ club.

The Ned’s brand story celebrates the rich history of its Grade I listed building, the former Midland Bank HQ, stood 12-storeys high between the Bank of England and Royal Exchange. Paying homage to its architect, Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens, the visual identity echoes the imposing Verdite columns and wrought-iron arched windows encountered upon first entering the original Grand Banking Hall.

Arranged throughout the transformed Grand Banking Hall are The Ned’s collection of nine public restaurants serving an array of cuisines—from a Venetian brasserie to a Japanese robata grill—presented separately under their own visual identities and branded collateral.
